William A. McDade, MD, PhD has joined the ACGME as its Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. He will lead diversity and inclusion activities focusing on national initiatives to include underrepresented groups in the medical education continuum.
On this first full day of the ACGME Annual Educational Conference, attendees were encouraged to “reignite the fire” of passion that drives them to work in graduate medical education, and to rediscover their meaning in medicine.
The ACGME participated in the third meeting of the National Academy of Medicine's (NAM) Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience, which gave the public an opportunity to engage with experts on diversity, inclusion, and loneliness.
